The University as institution and academic writing as a method to generate knowledge are often regarded as elitist and reactionary spaces of annunciation. Contrary to this assumption, my quest to understand and act upon what surrounds us through critical thinking and activism have been enhanced also by academia. By diluting the boundaries that supposedly divide theory and practice, my perception of the institution is shaped by processes of constant re-thinking and inquiry within and outside its framework.

The long term projects CeRCCa, NACMM – North Africa Cultural Mobility Map, Kibrit and Platform HARAKAT are the ongoing outcomes of these journeys.
